Good ingredients can be difficult to find. In the age of large supermarkets and multinationals controlling much of our food supply, it can be somewhat daunting to take back control of our food. It need not be so difficult however – there is wonderful produce all around us, all we need do is seek it out. The Slow Food movement champions “good, clean and fair” food for all. In my eyes, these are just some of the producers in our locality providing good, clean and fair food. Some are from further afield but their products are available locally.
